Hungary
Trip information

Did you know that the founder of the Pulitzer Prize, Joseph Pulitzer, came from Hungary? There is a lot to see and experience in Hungary. A visit to the Széchenyi Thermal Bath is particularly recommended. Thermal baths have a long tradition in Hungary and offer their visitors wellness and medical services. Outside the city, Lake Balaton or Balaton is a popular destination. There you can not only enjoy a relaxing bathing holiday, but also practice numerous water sports such as sailing, diving or windsurfing.
A speciality of the Hungarian kitchen is Lángos. It is a yeast dough cake that is fried in fat and then spread with a cream of sour cream and garlic and then sprinkled with cheese. Those who want to try another traditional dish should try a hearty goulash soup. Originally the soup was eaten by shepherds. To drink it you can choose a wine from one of the many wine regions of the country.
