Spain
Trip information

What do Salvador Dali, Penelope Cruz and Felipe I have in common? They all come from Spain, one of the largest countries in Europe. There is a lot to discover here from Madrid to Seville. Among them the famous Sagrada Familia in Barcelona. The architect Gaudí designed it in 1882, but it hasn't been finished until today. Another sight is the Alhambra, a castle in the city of Granada, which belongs to the world cultural heritage. If the hustle and bustle in the cities is too much for you, you can relax especially well at the sandy beach Playa de la Malagueta in Malága.
Spain also has a lot to offer in terms of cuisine: Besides the rice dish paella, many different regional dishes such as gazpacho, tapas or Iberian ham await you. If you like it sweet, you should definitely try churros. The typical Andalusian choux pastry is an absolute must. A traditional Spanish dish is of course accompanied by red wine. The Spaniards are famous for it.
