About the Hotel

For more than 50 years the Stahl family has been hosting and accommodating their guests at Heiligenberg. Whether you take a seat on the terrace in the middle of the forest, under a green roof with birds singing, or in the cosy restaurant - a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere awaits you. Around the Heiligenberg there are several well frequented and popular hiking trails. You can go up to the Heiligenburg and enjoy the wide view over the chattel country. The Heiligenbergverein Gensungen looks after and maintains the castle complex, hiking trails, refuges and benches. Hike around the "Hessenlandes Krone", the Heiligenberg or marvel at the works of art on the "Ars Natura" art trail - like the waiting people standing in a forest meadow, or try to decipher a stone poem along the way. After the walk you can enjoy coffee and homemade cake specialities with family Stahl and their staff.
